 Here are some of Monday’s biggest gaining and declining stocks in pre-market activity:

 Allscripts Healthcare Solutions MDRX +2.54%  shares rose 7.3%. Bloomberg News reported on Monday that Blackstone Group BX -0.21%  , Carlysle Group CG +0.78%  and Silver Lake Management have all made first-round bids for the firm as part of its plans to go private.
 
 Exact Sciences Corp. EXAS +2.38%  shares added 7.5%. Barron’s newspaper highlighted the firm and its genetically-based colon cancer treatment over the weekend.
 
 TPC Group Inc. TPCG -0.44%  shares rose 11%. The chemical firm said it is evaluating a non-binding acquisition offer from Innospec Inc. IOSP +0.03%   worth up to about $720 million that could scuttle its previous deal with investment firms First Reserve Corp. and SK Capital Partners.
 Decliners
 
 Affymetrix Inc. AFFX 0.00%  shares fell 10%. Affymetrix expects third-quarter revenue to fall short of consensus estimates as a tightening academic funding environment worldwide has hurt its gene expression and eBioscience business units. The provider of genetic analysis technologies to pharmaceutical, diagnostic and biotechnology companies forecast third-quarter revenue of about $80 million, while analysts were expecting $85 million.
 
 Green Dot Corp. GDOT +0.08%  shares fell 18%. The shares are being pressured by American Express Co.’s AXP +0.33% decisiosn to roll out a prepaid card product in cooperation with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. WMT +0.55%  that will compete with Green Dot offerings.
